the GH WaterFarm has a controller and res that is what you want, it's simple to build also. You can't really read the words, but you get the idea. The float valve keeps the water level in each bucket the same.

here is a link, I would put a shut-off valve between the res and controller, allowing you to mix and adjust nutes before being to be released to controller unit. It's basically a gravity fed unit, the buckets and controller need to be on the same level ground to allow the float valve to serve it's purpose. The level in the controller is the level in each bucket(obviously).

In the reservoir. You flood the system every few hours.

Here is the system I use: http://www.plantlightinghydroponics.com/ebb-gro-12plant-hydroponic-grow-system-pi-1640.html?image=0

I like it because I can keep the reservoir in a separate, much cooler room. This is nice because I can check my PPM or PH without ever having to disturb the plants (like when the lights are off.)

You can put an airstone in the res and controller if you'd like. This is a Gravity Fed system, not an Ebb & Gro. This res/controller can be used for Waterfarms or DWC Buckets. :leaf:
