First time in coco

Hi fellow growers, welcome to my grow,. I've only ever grown in soil and this time I'm trying coco, I've opted for fabric pots as I've read some positive results. Up until today I've grown under a DIY lights with some excellent results but this time I have forked out and purchased a spiderfarmer se3000 led light, it fits perfectly in my 70x70x160 tent and I'm excited to see what the difference will be.. My grow is pretty much climate controlled, 1 x inkbird controlling temp (small 300watt oil rad) and 1 x inkbird controlling humidity (250watt dehumidifier & 25watt humidifier) looking forward to seeing how this grow turns out, up to yet each grow has got better
P.S this is my favourite time of year as outside temps are low meaning I only have to heat up my space and not worry about it getting to hot and trying to cool it down which is alot harder..

Have you done research on how to grow in coco?
I prefer to add perlite to my coco and I like to start in solo cups and transplant after 2 weeks.

Yes I've read read and read some more lol, I would usually start off in solo's but these seeds are a couple of auto's I have left over, I prefer to start them off in their final pot as to reduce any stress transplanting (can't risk upsetting them in their short life)... I always added perlite to my organic grows 20/80 ratio (just to add air), as I understand in coco and especially in fabric pots you are giving the roots a good amount of oxygen and adding perlite causes the coco to dry out a little faster, I've opted to go without, we'll see.. 1. I wouldn't sweat the transplanting autos too much. They do just fine. That said, starting in the final pot is fine as well. Don't worry about watering to runoff so much as seedlings. I water like soil the first week or two. Once the plant starts taking off, I feed a bit more.

2. When I started running blumats, I ditched the perlite and could not be happier. I put my faith in quality coco and haven't looked back the last couple grows.

And to be clear, that's what has worked for me. I'm still learning as I go.
