Iv currently got 17 cheese plants about 3 and a half weeks into flower but havnt pruned or tampered with the plants in anyway. I read that this is ok when using the SOG method but everyone seems to have different opinions about this? Also my plants have budded all over now but the ones nearer the top of the plant are much larger and more developed and would like to know if i should remove any of the lower, smaller buds to let the plants focus more on the larger ones. My main objective for growing is to get as big a yield as possible from my plants. Any advice would be appreciated. Im growing under two 600w hps lights in a 2 by 1.5 m tent.

it all depends on the size of the plant but removing the lower branchs will inprove the top main cola it's called lollipopping and it should inprove your yield as 17 in that space the lower branchs wouldnt get much light at all and produce small ghost buds where as you can have 17 top quilty bulky top buds ... easyer to trim :-)

So you reckon i should take off whole branches and not just the buds? Even nearly 4 weeks into flower? Im no expert bro so appreciate any advise thrown my way. Its abit scary hackin away at the plants tho first time around because they all look so healthy i dnt wanna fuck them up.

i usealy lollipop at day 21 to produce one main cola and 3 sets of branchs max anything lower then this i remove, saying that tho i would normaly have 20/24 in your sq foot producing 30-40oz

What u meen in my square foot ud have 20 to 24? U meen in the same size tent im using? I couldnt fit anymore in if i wanted to be able to get in an feed the bastards. Sorry if i aint followin u bro im not thick its all new to me an im just gettin my bearings. Also im only using a and b nutes with flowerstim at the moment nothing else but all the plants look big and healthy would u recommend anythin else or just keep on as i am. My mates had loads of successful grows just using these nutes an nothin else apart from final flush in the second to last week. What u sayin my spunky frend?

keep on how you are :) stick to the basic nutes for your first crop to get a feel for things it's when you try to get fancy things can start to go wrong aswell as good, after all you cant improve on yield befor you have one under your belt to compare to, if you want to play around to inprove things do it on acople of plants only dont do the whole lot it's all about dammage control when learning, if you fancy trying lollipoping take 2 or 4 plants that look more or less the same and lollipop half of them and grow them next to the one's that are not done so you can see witch performs best. the skill of growing weed is a quick one when you have a nice size room and lots of plants to play with :-)
