Day 46

Spent some time with the kids in their tent on Superbowl Sunday doing some LST and thinning of the canopy. Also I placed risers under the shorter plants to even up the canopy so all kids can get the maximum light from the whopping 200 watts of LED offered to them. Plants appear happy and healthy living in the tent with temps in the mid to upper 70's with night time temps kept in the upper 60's to low 70's. These temps have allowed the plants to be watered twice per week with a 1/2 teaspoon cal-mag per gallon of tap water. Plants continue to thrive off of nutrients in Fox farm Ocean forest soil with Dr. earths home grown organic fertilizer added per their container guidelines. Picture was taken today.

Day 51

Veg has gone well with my sf 1000 led and shop light combo, it saved me some money and I'm happy I chose to run them. That being said I knew I was gonna need more watts to get anything other than fluffy nugs so finally cracked the opened the Sun System 315 CMH Boss light I bought awhile back. Bulb is the 3100k. Gonna be interesting to see what the combo of LED and CMH can produce. With the extra watts I'm not gonna need to run my heater except durning lights out. Tommorow I'm gonna flip over to flower, hopefully I have a bunch of ladies and nothing else.

Day 53

Decided to add another of the SF 1000 lights to the tent. This puts me over the 500 watt mark for my tent.

Day 55

Noticed some issues with the some of the older fan leaves. I'm pretty certain that what i'm seeing is coming from lack of nuts available to the plants after adding the 3100k CMH and 2nd SF 1000 So now I've raised the lights and have dimmed the CMH to 50% I've also made more nutrients available to the plants by feeding Roots brand Trinity and Budda grow organic formula feed. I've also added a new product suggested which is a water root zone happy place stuff ( not sure of its actual name ) anyway by a company called Bigfoot. Going to watch for more discoloration and also flush this weekend. At that time I'll also PH the soil. Many thanks to the people who have chimed in on the issue. FIrst time grower needs all the help he can get...

Day 57

Plants are looking great. Gave them a drink yesterday with a mixture of trinity, BG, bone meal and a little cal-mag. By the end of the day I raised the lights nearly 2 inches! Thing I'm most worried about currently is if I'll have the head room required to make it through bloom! Amazing stuff happens when you actually feed the kids!

Day 62

Plants are responding happily to the light and nutrients being given. I've decided to try and train my sativa plant with some supercropping. All stems that I've bent have done so easily with no signs of injuring the skin of the stem. I'd like to not have to do this but after seeing here what they are capable of doing while flowering didn't feel I had another choice.

Day 83

Week 4

Top dressed my ladies today with Earth Juice Bloom Pro mix 2-14-2 Followed up with a good soaking. Hoping this will give the ladies a added boost in filling in and elongating their flowers. They all are really starting to have their own fragrance with the exception of the tall Sativa plant, it's still the slowest in development. It has a largest number of flowers but also the smallest. With her size I've been keeping her in the corner farthest from the direct light trying to avoid light burn so this may also be playing a part in her slow development. I'm hoping that the smaller indica/sativa plants finish up quicker and I'll be able to move her to the center and set the lights accordingly so she can finish out her cycle. Anything worth doing is worth doing right, really hope I can get her to the finish.

Day 49 of flower

Always underfed plants when I've grown outdoors and now cause of the ease of location I've gone and gave my ladies two much love. The answer was pointed out by @ColoradoHighGrower, big thanks to him! I've been feeding all the ladies pretty much the same food thinking that was what I needed to be doing rather than watching for signs of what they were asking for. When I cracked my seeds I wasn't expecting all to be female let alone 4 different varieties. So after seeing signs of nutrient burn I flushed all the plants with 3 gallons of water. Following day I gave all the plants another 1/2 gallon water with a small amount of cal-mag so that the remanding nutrients left in the soil is made available to them. Today I went through and snipped a few dozen or so older fan leaves that had suffered damage from nutrient burn from all the plants except my stressed sativa. Photos are from yesterday and today. Another thing is I've read ocean forest can be kind of hot for some strains, but it didn't look like you had any issues with over-feed or other imbalances until just recently. Any sudden changes other than the light upgrade/lowering? Light burn is pretty much what you'd expect (very tips).

Day 68 since going 12/12 of flower

Fed the ladies another round of molasses and fed my sativa some Buddha bloom formula, Trinity, NOTG Bone Meal and a little molasses. Also raised all the lights to the same height and put the sativa under my 315 CMH lights are approximately 18 inches above the plant and much higher above the other 4 which are getting close to harvest.
