First time indoors

Alright here's the set up:1 - 400W MH using just for VEG as of now, 400W ballast w/ cooling fan, bag seed plant (used for trial and error), soil - Fox Farm Ocean Forrest, Nuts - everything on fox farm nut plan

(the light in the ballast pic was used for germination 90w at homedepot

a new thread will be started soon as the Sweet Deep Grapefruit cracks

Have you thought about airflow at all? Be careful with ocean its known to burn.

Also whers the ff grow big? Do you have a ff feed chart. Your gonna need ff microbrew to help root zone. Are u gonna use their solubles?

This man speaks the truth, i'm new at it as well first i underfed and my plant got brown spots. Now i'm overfeeding and the tips are getting burnt. Nothing a little plain H2O wont fix.

yea the place i bought them at the guy told me the exact same thing as far as FF and burning. For the ventilation i figured i could leave my door cracked about 4-5 inches for now but eventually have 2 vents one at the top of the door and one at the bottom, the top sucking in and the bottom blowing out with carbon filters

im going to be experimenting with some LSTing with some pictures tomorrow so stay updated

I would get a fan for that hood. That light will overpower most ventilation fans.
