Alright, I'm a n00b with this and have read too many guides, and I'm lost. I need to grow cause I cant afford buying all the time, crazy right? Well, I need help. I've got seeds, I just need to know the other stuff. I only have 3' wide by 3' deep by 3' high..not much room. A. What material should I build out of, B. What lights should I use, C. any other information i need to know. Thanks!

You'll get a vast number of opinions, but heres mine.

A. thats a small space, why build anything? leaving it open gives you ventilation. Unless you need to be stealth in witch case the material just needs to be sturdy enough to support your lights etc...

B. this will be a debate. again, it's a small space I would definitely go with CFLs (standard twisty bulbs from walmart) they will produce less heat and still give you good results, if you need more info on cfls, simply look about this site and you'll find plenty.

C. yes, if you do build something, consider ventilation, temps, humidity, and light fixtures in your design. Will you do soil? hydro? all of these things matter, and also, what's your budget like. This will deeply impact what you are able to accomplish.

thanks for those! My budget isn't the best, but around Christmas I may be able to make it better. I am going stealth and am only growing it in there because I need it to be less stenchy

Yea...I may get a PC case, not sure, but, I've got a question about lights...how can I make one that would hang from the top, because I dont know a whole lot about that. Like for a socket or w/e

Don't use incandescent, not worth the time IMHO. Cfls are pretty much everywhere, go to the grocery store, buy 4 100w equivalent cfls , 3 y light bulb socket adapters, 1 clamp light and ur off to a good start.
