Hi all....pretty excited to be here ...This will be my first indoor grow in ten years. I have a 10' X7' X6.5 T room set up with a 1000W HPS with a cool tube and a 4' X4' tent for mothers and clones with 20,000 Lummens of T5. I have 2 fan/carbon filter setups...one pulling 300cfm and the other pulling 420 Cfm....I also have a cheap duct fan set up to bring air in...this fan is on a thermostat and only comes on above 78F...Its cold where I'm at this time of year...22F right now...so I have a 2 tube Quartz heater to keep the temps up...today s high was 32F ...the rooms high was 79 and the low was 66...acceptable I think. I have 19 clones in 16oz cups at the moment...A very old NL#5 strain . I am also waiting on some bomb seeds.
Back in the old days...And I hate to admit this....I used 2 liter bottles...and ran 2 pieces of clothes line up into the soil (Pro mix bought at home depot) and then placed them all into plastic trays and bottom fed them tap water with MG or Shultz fertilizer...and believe it or not...I had decent results...flowering just as soon as the clones were rooted and ending up with trays full of colas.
I like to think I'm a little smarter now...For this grow I will be using Canna Coco mixed with perlite in 3 gal bags ... I am considering running the wicks ...even if I top water...just in case I have to be away from the grow for a day or two ...Thoughts on this? I am going to run Botoncaire CNS 17 Nutrients as it is an easy 2 part system....and not a ton of loot for my first grow.
I basically do not know much about organics but I take advice well and I'm a quick learner...Please throw your $.02 in when ever you feel like it.
