First time outdoor grow questions

We have had some low temps at night and almost over night the ladies seemed to have turned purple. Pretty wild to see. Past two weeks the weather has been horrible but starting tomorrow the next 10 days seem pretty solid.

Have a loupe delivering tomorrow to check their progress. My gut says they still have 2-3 weeks. any thought from anyone on how much longer?

PM seems to be under control on the plant that was being the most affected so in combination of treating and decent weather coming I feel that I can keep going for now.

Those look great! What are you feeding with???
Thanks! This whole grow kinda landed in my lap unexpectedly as a buddy of mine stopped by one day with some clones. So I just starting doing and using things that I did in the past. Using fox farm trio. Not sure how people feel about FF but that’s what I knew. Started looking into jacks for next year, not sure what I’m going to use. Any suggestions? What do you use?

I'm in the Northeast too and the next few weeks are make or break. Weather looks good here too, however coastal fog is always a problem.
Your plants look great, I agree with you, 2-3 weeks longer and you'll get some nice smoke. But I'd let em ride as long as you can. We aren't getting good weather like the past few seasons, so weather will more than likely be the determining factor on when to pull. Check daily for rot, if you find it, dont freak. Cut it out as gently as possible trying not to send spores into the air.

This is my second season with a cover on my outdoor and I've come to the realization that it's a necessity in the northeast. Your umbrella idea is great. Gl with the rest of the season.

Do you have a picture you can share of the cover for your area? My area is blocked with a privacy fence, I was thinking of somehow getting like green house material and securing to the fence somehow.

I like how you're thinking attaching to your fence. I put my cover up about 2 weeks ago and remove the plastic end of season. Looks a little wonky and my framing is constructed with strapping, but it's worked the last two seasons and held up to last weekends gusts of 40 terrible wind . Help up nicely to torrential rain a week back as well (knock on wood)
The plastic is 4 mil, I wanted 6 but the cheapest roll was huge and over $200. The 4mil I picked up from the hardware store. It was either 20'w× 25'L or 15'wx25L for $25.

Looks awesome man! I’m definitely going to do something like that next season. The umbrella is working for these two but I plan on doing a few more next year so I’m going to need something like that. Thanks!

Made it another week! We had great weather, every night is in the 30s but past week most days got to the mid 60s. The weather looks like it is turning and the next 7-10 look like highs in the mid 50s.

buds are looking good. Seems like they are starting to swell. Still only seeing maybe 5% amber. I do not think they are ready yet, maybe 1-2 more weeks? Either way I think at this stage of the game it’s week to week depending on weather conditions. I have my drying room prepped and ready, temp is showing 66 and RH is currently at 57%. No fan running with those readings. My plan is when I harvest to remove fan leaves and easily reached sugar leaves, leave the rest and let dry.
