so what are you gonna be growing? sativa tomatoes or indica strawberrys? lol... looks legit... i am curious to see how much of a dif the light positioning gonna make...

@micro.grower - I designed the lights like that because I couldn't find a power strip to accompany 5 cfls and it was easier to just build it then to get the headache of searching around for one that might work...
well I decided to scratch the old pc it was way small, had an old web server layin around from my high school lol... so I decided to gut the server and go from there after about 12hrs of work I got it ready to grow...
Let me know what you all think, I will be germinating some bagseed tonight.
money is short so I had some juffy organic seeding soils so I'm going to start them off in that then transplant to bigger pots with Fox Farms Oceans Forest.

well one of my bag seeds that I was germing cracked open and had about 1/8th in tail. Money is short so I'm using organic Jiffy seed starting soil, will get me through till I can get the cash to go grab some fox farms ocean forest.. will post some pictures when it sprouts through..

Went and got a thermometer, got one of those indoor/outdoor ones so I could check on temps inside without having to open case, inside temps are running 85-86 degrees, room temps running 77-78 degrees.. now the inside temps are while the lights are on, haven't checked what the temps are while lights are off yet will do that later on when lights go off...

well first night with lights off went well low was 73.4F not bad with lights on its running about a constant 86... Went and picked up a bag of Fox Farms Ocean Forest and 2 x 6in clay pots. Since I planted seeds in jiffy pots, there made to break down so I can plant right into the 6in pot. Germed the first seed and planted 2 days ago, still nothing popping up. Germed the second seed and planted yesturday, will post up some pictures once the seeds pop the top of the soil..
