Hello everyone, i have been reading alot on this website, maybe too much. But this is what i have.
4.5x4 closet unventilated due to renting issues
290 Spectra led
One large 8 inch fan blowing fresh air in the closet on medium
Full line up of FF nuets.
Digital ph meter
OFFF Soil
2 five gallon buckets- 2 different strains. (afgan kush and moby dick)
1 three gallon pot- 1 strain (white widow clone that im nursing back)
Reflective sheeting surround the whole closet

Ok so now that you know what im running. Heres my q. With the led light that i have and the space that im given, im worried that im going to need more light. The plants are only 2 weeks old now and i just transplanted them into there final home, it looks sketchy to me. I would like to add 4 cfl lights to the side of my main light, but i dont know if that would fuck up the effect of the led light and its spectrum. What should i do i cant afford another led right now and im looking for other options.
Any advice would help.
Oh i put the plants in a triangle to try and catch all of the light.

wouldnt fuck up the led lights at all....the more light the merrier.....but with the additional cfl's you may have heat issues

Im not to familiar to any CFLS what would you recommend to use. I have read alot about the Kalvin's, but what wattage should i get and should i run a splitter on each light, so i have 2 CFLS per light.

I will be posting pictures later today so you can see my progress.

Dont get me wrong my plants are doing great, im just trying to do preventive maintenance.

Heres the pics.
Pic 1 is the Moby dick (2 weeks old from seed)
Pic 2 is my layout
Pic 3 is Afgan kush ( 2 weeks old from seed)
Pic 4 is My White widow clone that i have been nursing for about a month now because of a deficiency and it is now showing new healthy growth

I want to put the CFLS on the left and right side of the led. But then i also thought about t5s what one would be better for the price.

ok, here is what I would do...
they have these 200 watt cfl's at menards, there about 17$ for the bulb and a cheap metal reflector is $12. Id get three of those, one for each plant, and try to position them pointing at the plants from each side (a triangle if you will) near the tops. They put out 200 watts, using something like 54 watts (im guessing) and they work great for me in veg...idk about flowering. And, the heat output of these isnt too bad...
