First time + Rockwool=?HELP!?!

I have some 20 dollar seeds coming and some 3x3x4 rockwool cubes. I've never used rockwool before, and I am as likely to stick-'em-in-dirt when they outgrow the cubes as not. But assuredly some will go dirt and some hydroponic, and I could sure use some help with my investment.
I'd like to stick the seeds directly in the rockwool. Does this work well?
I've grown before, and considermyself maybe one good crop shy of an ametuer. lol So I am not after enhancing practices as much as tried and sure. So I wonder right off if I would be safer with my seeds forgetting the rockwool to sprout in?

rockwool is good for all babys really just make sure to PH treat the rockwool and keep them moist and under light (some say 24 hour i like 18/6) keys are moist and light

p.s. make sure to PH treat the rock WOOL lol very important

OK, cool...PH meter coming too. So control liquid PH, to control rockwool PHright? And my tapwater has nearly half calcium if you count what it leaves behind. lol Probably distilled water only, huh? Should it have feed (light) in the sprout water?

FYI, my seeds are Hawaii Maui Waui feminized, a pure sativa. I've been drooling for this for a long time!

i would germinate them first before placing in RW if thats what u meant to do

well germing in shot glass or paper towel has proven better rate then just sticking in soil or RW

i use the second method the shotglass but after i see seed split and tap root come out I place them in paper towel like first link
but u chose which u like or try both and compare which had better ratio of seeds that germed
then let us know

I have had 99.9% sucess rate just sticking the seed straight into ph prepped jiffy pucks.
I have 2 in now I expect to see tomorrow or Monday. :weed:

thats a good ratio i tried them things and i fucked up and let them sit in water to long and they swelled up and some busted lol

Good evening FAB. I do have some rock wool 2x2 cubes. I have just never needed them yet. thought
i would do a Hydro grow and use them but run out of funds before I could complete the build.

So I fixed that by starting a dirt grow. :weed:

Today was the first FULL feeding of 1400 PPM of FoxFarm's
FULL line up.

Now back to your Normal veiwing folks.

im sure dont mind he is a friend of mine
well u can use them then place in soil best medium to start seeds but u got to condition cuz it has high ph
i use lemon jiuce as manufacter recommends
