I found a recipe for pre-treating rockwool before first use. The ingredients are given, but could someone fill in the gaps with some mixing/using advice?
Here's the recipe: To pre-treat rockwool for planting, soak it in a solution of fish emulsion,
trace mineral solution and phosphoresic acid (PH Down) for 24 hours, then rinse.
This will decrease the need for PH worries later on, as it buffers the rockwool
PH to be fairly neutural.
I've found all of these ingredients at amazon, bot the trace mineral solution I found is in question of being the right stuff. Please....
