first timer--anyone have feedback?

Another little update....

I yielded a nice 8.2 gram ball of dried Gumby hash from the 170 grams of sugar trim that I used in my one 5 gallon bucket run. It has a very narcotic couchlock high that sits on my whole head- front, back, and from side to side. It also makes my legs tingle slightly, and thus has a nice body high as well.

I am baked all over ;-)

I know it's just a big brown ball, but I would love to see a pic of it.

Nice work by the way... isn't that a pretty good extraction rate? I'm not sure, but I am sure you got more from your trim than I. I think I'll have to dry my leaves.

And as for the trial... if I do a dry leave run and it is way better, you don't have to waste a run with wet leaves, if you know what I mean.

Thanks Jig I will see about getting a pic.

I got nervous that its still wet in the middle and will mold so I cut it in half.

But I took a pic first :-)

I will have to calculate the exraction rate but I am pleased!

And yes I know what you mean for sure. And we will find out sooner with you than me cause its gonna be a while before I have anything in flower again, let alone some final product.

I stored my dry trim in the fridge for a day as well, fyi.

Ok so as you can see I have posted pics of a couple small lollies and a few of the larger ones.

You can see the 4 full jars I got totalling about 10.2 oz's of some very nice smoke indeed.

I am just now trying it for the first time after 3 days curing and its great, pure and simple.

Let me know what you think and thanks to Jig for his help posting pics!

Ok so I took about 6 grams of freshly chopped nugs, some hash dust and droppings, and just over 6 ounces of non sugar trim, stems, leaves, etc and used a coffee grinder to chop it up a bit.

I used 6 cups of water and 4 cubes of Tillamook unsalted butter and a crockpot. I started the crockpot on high with just the water and once heated added the butter.

Once thoroughly melted and steaming hot, I added the trim. I stirred and lightly mashed it every half and hour for three hours. I then turned the crockpot down to low and repeated the stirring schedule for another 3 hours.

I took a triple layer of cheesecloth and zip tied it over a plastic container pictured. I drained it through and put it in the fridge to cool until morning.

I will take a pic of the final product and the resulting foods and get them to you guys :-)

You could take pics and then text them to me and I could email them back to you from my phone and you could upload them!

Jig is helping me post pics until I get my computer fixed or find out its trash and get a new one. So I would help you, its just karma.

I even gave him my password, he just logs in for me and uploads and then I can edit the posts from my phone! He is a very trustworthy guy, and he barely ever reads my private messages! LOL ;-)
