First timer here...need advice!

I recently purchased 10 seeds and they have been growing for about two weeks now and as far as I'm concerned are progressing properly. I have transplanted them into there final pots (about 2.5 gallons each) and under there lighting I'm going to use to finish them off (3 four foot fluro lights with reflectors, each ballast hold two 32 watt natural sunshine blulbs. With a possibility of adding one more ballast if they get too big.) they are an indica strain called flash and are soposed to finish flowering in 40 days or so, so I'm guessing they won't be that large. Now that you have all the details my question is: how long should I leave them in veg state? What's a good medium lenght that they should be before I flower? Or should I use other factors to determine when I flower? Please give advice! ( pics to come soon of the setup)

ok just think of it as a natural process. so yeah you can veg the plants longer for a slightly bigger crop but most people usually go with whats natural. 4 to 5 months for veg maybe 6. and for flowering go with about 8 to 10 weeks since its an indica strain. hope this helps.

unless you get better lights do not veg for 4 to 5 months. your plants will be huge and no light will get to them. you should be vegging between 2 and 4 weeks. i wouldnt let them veg to more than 12 inches tall cause they stretch in flower.
