First timer preparation.

Hello Guys and Girls. Here is my introduction to myself, no biggie. My name is Aaron, 18 years old. From Australia, I know.. its illegal. Me and my friends get buds from dealer, although we dont know what buds it is. Normally $25 a stick, which is very expensive, and i wonder why dont i grow some myself, but iam completely know nothing about gardening / growing. . I only know so much about basic. Iam into small scale growing.

1. What would you recommend for first timer ?

Indoor or Outdoor ?

What kind of seeds ? www.planetskunk.com

2. All the others information i'll read up like a good boy in FAQ.

3. Please kindly give me some opinions / Suggestions / Recommendations

I would recommend outdoor for your first time, only because it is less expensive.Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Australia just about to start winter now? You need at least 3 months to grow outside depending on the sun.I'm not sure of your weather where you are.

For ur first time I would reccomend Growing indoors,yes its more expensive but its also easier to maintain and u dont gotta worry about ur plants getting stolen as much,but u do have to worry about having the plants in ur possesion.I would reccommend any type of Indica if u want a quicker flowering plant Sativa for longer flowering.If u need any help,i mean any help to do with growing like what to use what lights,soil,nutreints,etc.. just message me ill write u back

Can you help me out with the whole setup ? As you know, I'm living under my parents roof, All i need small scale growing / small everything , because i don't want my parents to know the operation or whatever.

yes i will help u out what do u want ot know?i can help u with the whole setup from bottom to top,i can get u reayd to grow like a champ if u want

Once u get ur seeds u have to germinate them,tkae the seeds ur going to plant and put them in between and wet paper towel and let them sit in the dark overnight and they should show the tap root,when its about a quarter of an inch to half an inch u plant them half inch in the soil with the tap root facing down.

Ok now to Lights:if u have a low budget i would go with CFL's or in regular terms Compact Flurorescent bulbs,the ones that spiral,or u can take 80 bucks and buy a HPS system which is what i got works wonders

Soil:Try not to use miracle grow unless its organic choice,organic=better soil.Fox Farms ocean forest is the best if u can order some i would.

I need to know ur budget before i can really help how much can u spend on the whole grow?

Hmmm.. $800.00 bucks would buy alot of $25.00 sticks. It is gonna be tough to do this and make it worth you time unless your parents are cool with you doing it. It can be done for sure but if you smoke on a regular basis your yield probably would last too long unless you did a SOG setup (which makes the chance of Mom & Dad trashing your investment even higher).

Just my opinion..

Can you teach me about the SOG Setup ? Sounds really hard and troublesome.

There is a ton info here from people that are more educated on the subject than I am, you just have to look for it. This is always of process of reading/asking questions/ and making hands on mistakes. Most folks are stoked with just getting a finished product their very first grow, regardless of yield size or quality.
