First Timer

So I started an Organic grow with 2 mystery seeds and 3 healthy looking clones
(Fire OG, Blue Dream, Kens GDP) with thick stocks at end of March on a 3rd floor patio grow (I don't bring them into house). The seeds went from plastic cup to 3 gallon pot and the clones right into 3 gallon pots. One mystery seed suffered transplant shock so I trashed it. The other seed has been the strongest of all four. They are now all in 5 gallon pots. I have topped them a time or 2. 2 of the clones are having a lil yellow and crisping. My major concern is they just are'nt growing TALL. What am I doing wrong?

if your not flowering don't worrie to much about them being tall yet on the 12s theyll do alot of shooting up. They say 2-3xs its hight. I think that may be am understatement.
as long as you got a healthy plant don't try to change any thing.
also if its indica it should stay closer to the ground but more bushy. Sativas are the opposite

topping it twice might have something to do with it. but yeah like beblunted said they will double to triple in height during 12/12.

My Kens GDP is the smallest, but they are all healthy looking with the exception of the leaves I mentioned.

I started with an organic soil which I forgot name using General Organics Nutrients.
In 5 gallon pots soil I am using 50/50 Fox Farm Ocean Forest and VermiFire Nutrient Rich with Mycorrhizal fungi with just plain tap water that sits outside in shade to dechlorinate (Is it really important to use R/O water?). I water them till a small amount enters the bottom water recycling portion of pot about once every 5 days it seems like. Takes forever for the soil to seem dry. Using 2times per week an organic anti mold and bug spray called Mildew Cure.
Any tips or suggestions?

Leaving water set out no longer removes chlorine and reduces the amount of O2 available, They used to use a chlorine gas which was why leaving it out worked, now they use chloromine which DOES NOT evaporate only way to remove it is charcoal filtering or ascorbic acid

if you use RO water you will have to supplement Cal/Mag

So what is your suggestion for water? R/O, plain tap water, or distilled? Wanna make sure I am doing it right..

I run tap water thru a charcoal filter

There're products to buy from aquarium shops to dispel chloromine.
