here's a couple of pics taken 4 days ago of my plant being grown wit one 250W CFL (for flowering although this is at end of veg stage - long story). Plant has been grown just using standard tomoato food, indoor pot plant soil, peralite and has been topped.

will post a couple more tonight 2 daysinto flowering and a week after topping.

hi!

it's a 250W red - originally bought it for auto flowers, but that went horribly wrong! Will get round to getting blue but just thought I'd see if I could get anything to grow. Pot is about 8 inces diameter and 10 inches deep, i do have larger ones but everything i'm trying to do here is keep it compact for the CFL and I believe wider the pot the wider plant (although prob wrong!!) and hence topping.

firstly apologies - bulb is a 150W (DOH!) but I have added a couple of 20W to the grow which you can see in the pics, attached are some more pics - camera on phone is shiteee so will put some batteries in the camera next time.

Pics of plant are 2 days into 12/12, already showing pistils ?! is this normal?? - tried to take pics of them but you can't really see due to crappy cam.

PS moved over to Biobizz for flowering

ha cheers fella - here's hoping, just about to coat the space (fitted wardrobe) in white light proof plastic, better than watching x factor!!

I think we've must be at the opposite end of the spectrums with our grows!

probably pay you to repot, give the roots room now that she is going to flower, looks healthy though, yeah topping will make it bush out more. i use 250 and 200 watt enviros and they do a good job if you keep them close.

hey plants are looking good man im using the 250w version of your bulb for veg and flower its going great i start flowering tomorrow cheers

yeah i was wondering whether to or not - the roots do peek through the drain holes but only by 10 or so mm, i need to get more soil for the next attempt anyway so i suppose i could - what size pots d'ya reckon?

It's a G13 purple something ?!?! (was a freebie seed I got with an order so didn't pay much attention :-?

here's some more pics I took tonight with a half decent camera! Can see how much she has grown from yesterday and pre flowers (if you look carefully!!)

nice tight plant, i use max 20 litre pots but mostly 10 litre under 200 enviros, i would say double the size of pot that its in now so it can grow some more.

thanks for the comments and advice, i'll repot on wed, just got to find one tall enough as the pot it it is now is taller than wider.
