to my knowledge, anykind of fish, I use fish emulations on my plants and they love it!

Make sure you put up signs all around your plants saying, "NO SKUNKS OR RACCOONS ALLOWED!".

And put the signs down low, about 8 inches off the ground, so they can read them. If you put the signs up too high, the animals won't be able to read them, and it won't work. Lots of people who bury fish with their plants make this basic mistake, and their plants wind up getting dug up by critters.

I use to bury the guts, head, and other parts generally not eaten, about a foot deep.

For a Novelty, plant the motion activated Billy Bass. That should put the fear of the Supernatural into their ass. It may even start a new Religion. As far as the plant goes, the hair sized feeder roots has a hard time chewing up a fish. For sadistic fun, that would work. But for plant growth, .... give me a break. A sign saying "Donut Restricted Area" will keep the Law Dog Fucks away, also. Nice Post Grass.

you can put anyfish into the ground as fertilizer. I use squid and add it to my compost heap. Smell at first, but then hlps to make a very rich soil. It is much better to grind up the fish before putting it into the ground. to much in one spot could make a pocket of toxic decomposing shit. Not to mention the smell, when you did it up.
