Fist Grow EVER! Bag See... Looks Indica..

*explicative* I need more light!!!! There is just too much to flower on here with this amount of light. I need at least another 400watts on top of this 350 watts. Here are a few pics. I hope this works this time lol

Today I did something I've never really intentionally done before cuz I was scared, but I squeezed (gently, but firm) on 1 of the big nugs, and one af the small ones. Now I know why she's taking long to flower, those nugs are dense. Sticky as all hell, I almost had enough on my fingers to make a hash hit and I didn't really squeeze for that long nor that hard. The smell is so…………pungent, legit when u touch a nug and smell ur hand it's potent enough to taste in the back of ur mouth (u know what I'm talkin about) I'm super pleased with this grow. I found a bit of fun reading as well as picked out my next grow environment, lights and whatnot. Also when I get a bit more cash, I'm goingto be getting a ReVolt dimmable 600w and a 36x36x61 tent with a 6in inline carbon scrubber/fan ducted to a tube for the light to keep the temps somewhat cool. Than the seeds will be some autos just to see how the setup works, also I'm going to try to revert penny back to veg so she can be my mom and I can have a box for photos. I think I'm more addicted to growing than I am smoking. Anyway, I'll post pics within the next few days when I see some progress. Peace homies.

Thanks guys. Slowly but surly I'm going to get my operation set up. I'm having a lot of problems with these gnats. I've done a lot to try to keep them at bay, but I'm loosing a lot of fan leaves and also it looks like penny has shrunk in size. She's fed regularly but these gnats are sucking her dry. I've done the gardeners sand on top of the soil but still having issues. Any suggestions? I'll take pics later or tomorrow.

Unlucky dude! Fucking gnats, sorry man I have no idea about insects, Id imagine for the actuall plant itself some neem oil as thats seems to be for direct application to kill already exsistent bugs on plants, killed the source with the sand, genocide with the oil, but Im not sure about how far away from harvest you can do it without affecting smoke. Just read it somewhere her on RIU and cant remember lol Good luck dude

awesome man.. i just read up on neem oil from wiki.. also you can get it from vitimin shoppe for like 6 bux, the way im going to use it is, EXACTLY LIKE I USE SUPERTHRIVE, one drip in a 24oz spray bottle and im going to mist the shit out of her.. im not going to hit the top, im only going to shake the bush (gently to spereate the leaves to get underneath) than just spray the underside of the canopy and maybe a little bit on top of the sand (just to be 1000% sure) than i will see how it worked in a few days, if i still have em, im just going to repeat the process but stop 2 weeks before harvest.. i didnt read how it will affect the smoke, but the way i see it is, i will use it for however long i need to, than im just going to mist her with water untill 2 weeks before harvest or so. but im kinda thinking a lot of things now..

i couldnt have picked a better time to move, i mean she is in her 4th week of flowering, and im leaving on friday...... and i dont know how im going to take the trip with her. i dont have a lot of stuff to get a moving truck, and i drive a 4 door, so i mean trunk? NO! but maybe :\ the other option would be to call it a great first grow, harvest what i have than order some autos and start over.. please add any of ur .02 for this question.. im really running around in my head with this.. thanks guys.. im going to add pics later on today.. just stay tuned..

Get a passenger in the passenger side and get them to put the pot on the floor by thier feet, cover the plant and drive carefully, make sure your cars road worthy no need to get stopped for busted tail light or sumn, thats all I can think of aside of hiring a van yourself? I mean its like 50 quid a day here and its alot easier, but as for early cut show me da pics first dude! - Glad ur going for the neem route good luck dude!

hey man sorry to hear about those damn gnats. i had a few when i was growing grace but nothing crazy. i dont even know if they came from the plant of just old fruit we had in the kitchen lol. but ive heard, along with what guru recommended u can try some good o fly tape. just hand a few strips around penny and see what happens. i wouldnt cut penny down if she were mine. the bud probably wont dry into anything enjoyable. it would be a waste of everything you've done so far. atleast take her for the trip ad see if she makes it. if a couple branches brake (god forbid) during the ride then dry those out and smoke'em.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm just gonna take er. Ummm after pulling her out of the closet to take the pics. The gnats may be doing some good. I still have a lot of fan leaves and she's budding a lot faster now. I mean I pulled off 10 dead fan leaf sets but I still have enough on the plant. Also they are not attacking the bud, only the fan leaves. Now I know I need fan leaves to go thru photo process. Bit she looks ok. Maybe a little light bleaching. But like I said we will see.

yo i was reading on the internet about the ruderalis family of cannabis.. dudes if anyone wants to know the history behind auto strains http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/3033.html its an awesome history lesson.. also sheds new light on the ORIGNAL auto "mighty mite" im not going to tell you the whole article but the jist of it was that the ruderalis is a genitic splice of the Indica strain of cannabis, which in trurn means that with a little patients and love and the correct breeding tactics, you can make a straight up indica plant into an auto flowering strain.. apparently the indica has the genes that the autos have.. its a matter of speeding up the hormone process to actually get it to flower.. but not gonna lie.. i want to order like 60 indica seeds and try to get them to flower in 60 days.. but the funds for 60 seeds is not in my near future.. but i def want to get a ruderalis and an indica and cross them and make my own breed, than when i have a stable specimen, i want to breed the hybrid (that i made just prior) with a very very loving sativa, so i can ultimatly have a DANK line of autos.. time will tell and hopefully within a year or 2 i will have my own strain.. i fucking love growing, the reason is, the fuckin sky is the limit (legit, i wanna get people sky high lol)

Steve, i feel like a retard, i toattly didnt even come close to thinking about fly tape.. oh man.. lol.. she does look and smell dank.. i really want to chop a lower (scrawney) bud off the bottom and dry it and smoke it.. but how long will that "cut" take to heal?

guru, i think i may do a towable "u-haull" and just thro everything in there.. cuz if i were to get a passenger than i would have to take them back 3hrs to drive back another 3hrs.. the van is an awesome idea, but like i said, i would have to drive it there and back and take 6 hours out of my day where i could be loving penny......just sayin..lol

Clex, you can touch my bush whenever you want lol.. she is dank, and getting even more.. i would love to keep her as a mother/test subject but we are going to have to wait and see how the trip goes.. im fuckin excited!

so as of today, we are still growing, she is starting to put on some weight.. i think i have found a problem, nothing major, but something to think about.. ok so you know how everyone is always saying dont use CFL lights they have disadvantages, i think i found it.. well i have my lights about 7-10 inches away from the plant BUT they stay in the same spot i.e. in the middle of the plant. so what im getting at is, i think they are bleaching the plants.. if not than the fan leaves that are falling off and getting "pale and spotty" are just old leaves that are about ready to die and fall off, so the gnats are just attacking those leaves.. OR the gnats are just big fuckin dick bags.. but i still have bud, and i am still producing buds.. so im happy.. im also going to take the "bandaid" off the main stem where it broke, i feel like the stem is trying to get fatter, but im only choaking her out.. so i have some shit i gotta do to try to get this budding moving a little faster, cuz i know the conditions arent optimul, also im just going to give her straight nutes from now till harvest.. the only time she will get water is on her bi-weekly flush, but even than, i am just going to go gung ho till the "dark period" i am going to leave her for 2-4 weeks in straight darkness before i harvest her.. give her time to "ripen" before i cut her down..

in conclusion, please read that link i posted if ur trying/wanting to know more about autos.. later gators!

im not sure how long it will take to heal. when i cut branches off grace it didnt seem to slow her down much at all. every plant could be dif though so be careful. And watch out with the nutes man u dont wanna burn her. one of the lessons i learned from my first grow is less is more. i checked out that link for the autos, good stuff. if u ever create your own strain i better get some of those seeds my way brotha! im really starting to like the autos i got going. the buds smell like orange peels...
