Flame defender, cheap automated extiguisher

I am thinking about getting several of these. What do you guys think ? Someone told me you are most likely to get a fire from you circuit breaker though so I dont know. I have had several metled timers over the years that scared me. Would be nice to have the peice of mind and I'd spend under $500 for it. Was thinking about getting mostly the 6 KG size. What do you think ?

I'd look into co2 extinguisher systems if it's going in the room with the plants. These type cover everything with a dry chemical film. EVERYTHING.

Better then house burning down though =) Has to hit 150 degrees to set it off in which case there should be a pretty good fire going.

I love these things they are cheap easy to install and help me sleep at night.......Why not have them??

Yeah I have been wanting them for some time now. I figure I could really put a good amount of them around for $500 and feel much safer at night and when I am away.

i keep one pointed right at my ballast then have another one in my tent......between the two im pretty confident ill be good if there is a fire

I know this thread is old but here is my 2 cents.
It wouldn't matter how much these Things cost it would be totally worth it. I purchased 2 one sits inside the tent and one sits on top of the ballast.

I can't tell you how many times I have woken up ans heard on the news that another house has burnt down with suspicious circumstances. I know my house wont be one of these.

Best 100 bucks I have spent on my grow.
Especially if you have dogs that are home all day while you are working. I couldn't live with myself if my negligence killed my best friend.

Do your self a favour go and get some of these and sleep easy at night

They are pretty cool. and a great desl. if you watch the videos the things really go off with some force. The bracket they supply with the smallest unity is plent sturdy, but don't just screw it into drywall ;0
