Ok so I'm not entirely sure which type of paint is the best but I've heard flat white is good. I was looking around the house and found some flat white ceiling paint, would this be good for a small rubbermaid grow setup? Thanks.
Plastic rubbermaid tubs that I've already primedwhat substrate are you painting,? ie wood, walls?
not true in a big picture sorta way, Flat white paint reflects heat and if you understand that and know how to use it then you know why it is the best way to gomylar is even better than flat white paint, try some "emergency mylar blankets" if you fancy...
didn't know reflecting heat was necessary, do tell.not true in a big picture sorta way, Flat white paint reflects heat and if you understand that and know how to use it then you know why it is the best way to go
all kinds of good info in my Hey new growers thread or you can read anything by Riddleme which is who I am and to be honest it would take a bit of time to explain and I got a guy coming to get some Thunderfuck beansdidn't know reflecting heat was necessary, do tell.
like i said, high gloss LOOKS shinier, but look it up, flat reflects the most, and it lessens the more gloss there is.If you've primed ( concidering its the right type of primer) it you should be okay to paint it. Take a fine grit sand paper and lightly scuff it first give the paint more binding space.
(imma painter btw)
if I was you though id use high gloss straight white. (not sure how flat would be better as it has no sheene which means little to no reflection, I could be wrong some one please explain why if I am)
but high gloss shines like a mother fucker in my room(fresh build) looking at the walls with the lights on will hurt your eyes
do you know what actually that may make sense (meaning I may have messed up my room )like i said, high gloss LOOKS shinier, but look it up, flat reflects the most, and it lessens the more gloss there is.
