Yesterday morning I gave the plants a little trim, some of the large fan leaves were really taking over the plants and blocking a lot. This is right after the trim, I then gave them a gentle watering with Herculean Harvest.

As you can see I didn't go crazy, however last night before lights out I checked on them, and could tell they were feeling a little beat up. Checked on them this morning they seemed to have bounced right back.

Tonight I went and checked on them, looked through the peep hole and knew something was up. Looked at the temp/humidity, temp was 81 and humidity was at 75 WTF. I unzipped the tent and it was hot in there. Damn Inkbird controller got all outta wack again, I am about to throw that thing in the fucking river, nothing but problems since I've had it. I left it open for a bit then went and checked on it and the humidity was at 50. Pretty sure it effected the carbon filter a bit, I hope that bounces back as it is new.

In the morning they get tea, will see how they are doing then.

And shit went south! The night after the tea day, the plants looked pretty bad. That night I went to work and all night was thinking it was over. When I got home the next morning I started going thru things. I did 3 slurry test on 3 plants, and was pretty sure I found a problem. Then gave them a feed then I reported in to the guys on the NFTG thread, and they sorted me out. They wanted more of the good stuff. I gave them a bump, last two feeds were in the PPM 1500's, and they are loving it.

Also earlier on in this journal I talked about something going on with my first carbon filter, I replaced it with a $50 IPower from Amazon. My mistake! I cheaped out and it kicked me in the ass. I do feel the temp/humidity spike hampered it, so I am not going to bash them. So I did what I should have done a month or so ago, I got a Phresh filter.

So hopefully things are moving the right way now.

Whats going on? Just a quick update for those interested. I have had some learning experiences with this run, some ups and downs. Usually I think I am doing great for a couple days then reality kicks me where it counts. Two mornings ago was a tea day, 6 hours later they were droopy, just like they were 2 weeks ago. Sometimes they don't like a day without Nectar for the Gods.

So far so good!

A quick verbal update, will try to get some pictures later on when the lights are on. Things are going well, it was a tea day today so I am waiting to see the when the lights come on how they did. Like I've already said a few times in the past, some days they don't like it when they don't get their fix.

Lately their daily feeds are 1550 ppm, about another week and I am going to change up the feed to reduce some things and add in some things to help during flowering.

Trust me brother not gonna back down, just going to tweak things for hopefully a better finish. I am still very early in flower and got a ways to go.

Well today marks the 28th day of flower, I will get some pics when then lights come on. Just wanted to write down a few thoughts I have about this grow and what I am thinking about the future as of now so I can reflect back on this down the road.

The one thing really on my mind lately is Nectar for the Gods. I will say I think it is a fine product and I do believe in it, the plants love the stuff. Problem is they love it too much! I feel it would be great for 1-2 plants but for anymore I don't think it financially makes sense. One of the main ingredients Herculean Harvest for example, I've already went through 3 qts, and I am just finishing week 4. I've stocked up on things and hell I got to refill some of my bottles in the morning before the next feed.

That said, I will do what it takes to finish this grow. In the end if it is OMG fucking amazing bud I may rethink things. I will continue to play with NFTG with 1 plant at a time, but as it stands right now after this grow I am making a change.

I'am thinking Mega Crop or GH, or any suggestions?

Thanks Renfro! I know you do, your grows are what inspired me to check it out, if you don't mind me asking, what is your mix per gallon?
