With 2400 watts it seems I could set up a nice grow-space on the moon.
Does anyone have a theoretical application which would help me wrap my mind around this thing?

Also I've seen this company floating around here, but I'm under the impression they haven't actually sold a product yet. Does anyone know anything about them? When will we be able to get them, what kinds of prices will we see?

A big growhouse where they cultivate flowers or fruits or something.

Having a 2400W chip also brings a lot of attention towards them and is basically free publicity

AANNNNDDD I'm surprised you haven't seen a few adverts on RIU yet. It's a light called the Helio by starlite. Different companies but I think they use a FlipChip too?-EDIT. THIS I'S THE SAME COMPANY. UNDER PRODUCTS, choose flip chip COBS, TAKES YOU RIGHT TO THEIR FCOPTO.COM WEBSITE.

I would definitely like to get my hands on the duet cobs from flip chip, but last time I checked they are still in testing.

That heatsink will barely do 600w passively.........
