Hi,
It’s my first time flowering indoor. I have a 2M height tent and a cree CXB 3590 200W lamp.
Coco coir with mineral nutes
Strains- Jack herer, Y Griega (both topped). GDP and hash plant
My question is should I flip now and is there a general rule of thump for flipping
Cheers

A very general rule of thumb is to flip when they are 1/2 of their final desired height. Although, each strain and phenotype is different. You could research how much your strain is expected to stretch to give you a good starting point.

Plants will double or even triple in size after flip depending on genetics. So timing is critical to get the most without having plants get too big for the space. Some strains grow very little in veg only to explode when flipped to 12/12. When growing multiple strains is an area, larger plants will try to take over and overgrow any smaller plants. I like to put smaller strains in the middle under the light, even elevating them if possible where the light is most intense and the larger plants around the outside, like a stadium arrangement. Of course growing one strain eliminates the need to worry about radically different sized plants.

But when plants are topped.. can I still expect a triple size or even mor? Since roots are already developed compared to plant’s height

Flip when you have filled your space (canopy) without over filling it.
Nobody knows how much they are going to stretch. So many variables.
Pics would be useful. What space are you lighting with 200w of COB?
