FLIR in helicopters(outdoor)

The thread is about FLIR heli's. I think being busted is what THEY (bacon) have in mind, don't you?

our sheriff doesn't use his copter too much, cus of gas prices!!! it's only used for emergencies. weed does not have any different heat signature than other plants in the vicinity. flir cannot see small grows indoors. now large grows during veg, sure it can see that.

Well, if the outdoor grower is BUSTED by the 'bacon", they are then unable to continue outdoor growing - right?

I believe this topic definitely belongs in Outdoor Growing as FLIR is a potential threat to growers, just as bugs and critters are a threat to our potential "crop".

your a fucking idiot who knows nothing about frequency and light.......i dont mean high school retard BS like "LIGHT IS A PHOTON, ME SMART".

if you go out and learn how frequency's of wavelength, and differences between wavelengths AND how they interact with eachother and their environment, then you might have something to contribute.

if you dont have something intelligible to contribute to this discussion, extricate yourself from the board.


@sherry, yes FLIR is an extremely relevant topic for outdoor growing, depending where you are it could mean harvesting a crop or not. browndirtwarrior found that out

Just read in a reputable paper that some company has finally invented the "near infra-red" night optic sight.
It can now give a high resolution image of anyone's face in complete darkness. A quantum leap ahead. DEA is slated to start using it first, then the FBI gets it next.

Luckily I always wear a Richard Nixon mask when i go to my site. Scares just about everybody!
