Super glue will be fine, just make sure its dry before you use again. (Rinse off the area first)

as far as the airstone a heavy nut or bolt will work to sink it to the bottom. if your concerned with rust just go get a stainless steel bolt, a little pricy but still under 3 bucks.

Or anything heavy and copper, Matt. I used 2 new copper "L" fittings weighting my latest air line adventure. BTW I loathe airstones. They are unneeded and slime magnets. many will agree. Simply weight the end of the air tube and drop it in.

I have the same issues, and I was going to buy the suction caps but you say they don't work. I was about to use epoxy resin. I was thinking about tying some fishing sinkers but was worried about lead leach. I don't really want the resin in there either so the copper or nut/bolt ideas sound good :peace:.

Thanks for the tips mates. Super glue proved . I like the ideas of weighing them down with the non ferris type metal. I came up with a quick and cheap diy anchor. The media anchor as i will call it. Youll need 1 mesh sponge and some floral wire or twisty tyes.

i just sat my drip pump over the top of the air line, obviously the air line runs 2 inches away from the pump, and floats 1/2 inch off the bottom, DO NOT PUMP AIR INTO YOUR WATER PUMP, clearances people.
But i might just go down the shed and get a stainless steel nut, i didnt think of that, it wont oxidise :), im always learning new stuff. thanks guys :)
