flood an drain

Hi all I was goin to do a cabinet grow in dwc but the air pump I got is too loud so im goin to have to replan
I was thinking of flood and drain as the pump hardly makes any noise how often do you turn the pump on and how long for baring in mind its only for 1 mother plant

Im going to be using a 1" rockwool cube and then a 4" rockwool cube when its bigger
Is 3 times a day for 5 mins aday enough

If you are that worried about the pump making noise, don't use a resivoir at all. Then you won't need a pump. You have one plant why can't u hand water it every day? P.s. with a flood and drain the pump runs a minimum of about 3 to 5 min a day, once they start budding up they drink more so you flood the table before they go to sleep as well. STAY HIGH!!!
