i agree man i was blown away he is my idol lolI checked out stoney's grow and WOW is all I can say. Your right he does have it all. Well worth the effort he is putting into it.
This is true the res changes suck on DWC bubble buckets but the yield is huge.ya those 6 buckets i had were a pain to do water changes in and was the spark for the change for me but you can definitely have a bigger plant in buckets if thats what you are aiming for but the way i see it more plants more yield even if they are a little smaller lol sure people will disagree with me though lol
That setup is just insane!!i agree man i was blown away he is my idol lol
I am still torn which way to goThis is true the res changes suck on DWC bubble buckets but the yield is huge.
I am looking at your setup as well...nice man!I am just finishing up my current grow. My grow is on a small scale but can always be changed to a larger version. Here 's a link. I do a very simple Flood and Drain.

basically in DWC you are aiming for highly aerated water using a oxygen pump and a air stone in the standing water as long as the standing water is oxygenated its great for root production. in DWC the hard thing is managing water temps if they get to high its very bad i know beaver could give you some good advice on that he uses water coolers to achieve this if im not mistaken.Does a DWC always have water on the bottom of the bucket, and if so is this bad if roots reach it? i.e. root rot etc
Ok I was worried about roots sitting in the standing water and getting root rot.basically in DWC you are aiming for highly aerated water using a oxygen pump and a air stone in the standing water as long as the standing water is oxygenated its great for root production. in DWC the hard thing is managing water temps if they get to high its very bad i know beaver could give you some good advice on that he uses water coolers to achieve this if im not mistaken.
