does anybody have any exp. w/ the flora series/ ive done some research on it still a little confused. using the feeding chart for flora series and speaking to my local hydro guy im using the recomended amount per gallon. im not going off of the bottle they actually have a feeding chart if your using flora series thats slightly different. i know that nute companies kinda over do it a little but from every thing i read here ppms should be around 800-1000 for veg but if you use the mild feeding instead of aggressive your still well above 800-1000.do I need to calibrate my ppm meter for flora that doesnt sound right but anyways any help please!

very nice set up i think oll stick with the chart thats what i did the last time and every thing came out very nice didnt even know about ppms when i started trippin on that it seemed like every thing went to hell but i went back to my original feeding schedule and every plant has made a nice come back

this is how i think too. that when a plant is grown outdoors it doesnt have anything but sun and the occasional rain . no nutes, noone to check ppms , i mean how is someone supposed to dictate the perfect ppms or ph each plant is different and grows different. i have 25 of the same seed grown exactly the same way , watered n nuted the exact same way , nothing done different to each and like i said each plant grows different i have some that are 2 ft and others that are a ft and some 1.5 ft. . somethings are just left to chance and risk.

Well, that's the way that plants grow, but mike asked about Flora series nutes, and not the FloraNova nutrients. Both made by GH, but completely different.

With the flora series, just use 5-10ml/gallon of each MBG throughout, and you'll be fine.

i use GH stuff too with some added things. i use the new expert feeding program. i have a recirculating system. for veg i use H2O2 first, then add GH micro, grow and bloom, then add Liquid Karma (but going to switch to Green Fuse Grow). i also put in Mycorrhizae the first week when i put clones into the veg tray (but no H2O2 with that!).

for flower i use H2O2, GH micro, grow, bloom, green fuse bloom, flora blend, flora nectar, floraliscious bloom, kool bloom liquid and dry.

i just switched to this feeding program. was using Synergy instead of green fuse, but it isn't available anymore

I asked the same question and went with the chart recommendations on the bottle....I burned my plants....I've read here at RIU that unless your using 1000 watt lights and conditions are perfect, you should reduce the nute mix by 50%.....I've concluded that pot plants don't do well with high PPM nutrient levels....I was being greedy and impatient and ignored my tds meters reading of 1750 PPM. Result was burned plants....I think there's a reason so many people here suggest keeping your ppm reading around 800....Probably a lot of burned newby plants out there...Mine included!!!!!
