so i have a 4 foot florescent light..... in it, it has 1 gro lux bulb, which is purpleish, and 1 t8 4100K bulb which i think was more of a cool white.... my friend told me the 4100k is no good.... and that i should switch it to a 6500k or more of a daylight "blue light"

any opinions ?

thanks

I have them too.. says 3400K on the web.. and i'm assuming purple means red and blue.. my clones i had under 6500K sunblaster T5HO they were much brighter green. The ones under the 2 4' gro-lux 40w 3400K bulbs were a very dark green.. and the sunblasters seemd to grpw them faster... although u think the mix isnt bad..
