I heard in tropical climates like florida you can keep a plant alive for multiple seasons...? I was thinking about planting some seeds i got and keeping til next year, will that even work?

Ok, back to the well water, I just managed to pump some of that stinky stuff up and I decided to check it out before I went ahead and watered with it... ppm's are around 155 which is a lot lower than I thought it would be, (the tap water is about 150!) it's cold and the best part, the PH is 4.67!! Do you PH your water before giving to your girls? I would think so, but I'm wondering if it might be beneficial in some way?!? If someone could respond soon it would be awesome, I want to water in a few hours from now, I'll check before i go to bed. Thanks guys...

indoors i PH everything....outside they get it str8 up how it comes out...i think that it comes from the ground so it should b perfect and the plants seem 2 love it

Wow long thread...slowly researching through the the whole of it. I was also hoping to get some information about how the "season" works down here. From what I gather, the flowering process actually begins mid-august (is there an "exact" date?).
Secondly, the winter's soulstice (point at which the number of hours of daylight begins to spiral upwards) falls on December 21/22. Now, I'm aware that it's the 12 hours (or under) of light, which dictates the flowering process, but unsure of how exactly the soulstice might factor into the flowering process (if at all)? That is, if Florida is still receiving <= 12 hours of light after the solstice, does the fact that the day hours are actually *increasing* affect things? Or, is the only important factor simply the 12 hour mark, without any regards to whether or not day light hours are actually getting longer?
I suppose the final question would be: Which months here are actually receiving <=12 hours of light, and are *all* of these same months considered to be part of the flowering season here?

No disrespect high-jacking away from your question Pureblood. I think what your saying is perfectly doable, I've done it with tomatoes and peppers before, why not ganja? If enough leaves are left and the conditions are right I bet you could just prune off all the flowers bit by bit, though I'm sure that would cause the plant some stress and to possibly herm so soon that it wouldn't make it work for more than 2 seasons. Anyone tried it?

hey dudes, well whoever is in florida, there is a small tropical depression comin through tomorrow and will be here till about saturday. the thing that sucks is i got my attitude seeds tues, germed them, and planted this morning. they are 2 fem+autos and im wondering is the lack of light for the seedlings going to effect them? i know the sunlight comes through the clouds even though its raining but any feedback??

hesshy im in miami, its been raining like hell almost everyday. you should be ok all you need is like 8 hours of sunlight to keep them alive.just make sure the rain dont flood them.your gonna have to bring them in during rain.its been coming down hard i doubt the plants will make it. i had some sunflower seedlings outside in the dirt and the rain totally wiped them out they went ghost on me. i think the rain swept them away.

niceeeeee, is that pics of the same plant? its gonna be taller then the fence. lol your good man i thought u had seedlings. that plant should be able to take a beating by the raineven tough it will flush all your nutes out. the plant looks very healthy. damn i want to do a outdoor grow soooo bad!!!!!

nah i been growing that for about 6 weeks outside, that one is a warrior hahaha it can stand a lot of intense shit. i topped it yesterday because of that height precaution. dude outdoors is the way to go when grow season is here of course. i just started 2 autos this morning.
