hey i think ur right baking soda might work. my mom kept an open box in the fridge. i think she said it kills the foul odor and sucks out humidity. not sure how good it would work for a grow but its worth a try.

it's a small grow but i might just try it on my next grow cuz this ones almost done but yea i read up on baking soda and they say it's good to keep around vegetables to keep them fresh and to suck up moisture

I just bought a 50 pint dehumidifier from sears. It's not too loud and has auto restart after a power outage and hooks to a drain hose for $180. Pulled my humidity to 35% in twenty minutes from 85%. Took out 3 gallons overnight!

its rainy and cold here at the moment. no fun. cant wait for the warm weather. i cant find any place outside to grow cuz there are just pine tree forests around here and i hear the pine needels make the soil bad

LED.S SUCK FOR NOW..maybe in the near future theyll get improved..such as what a cmh bulb is to normal hps bulbs...and what a t-5 system is to the old t-8 and t12 lights..same thing..only improved for growing!!!
I use T5 for the veg area. I tried to use it for the flowering, but when I added the cost per bulb and the cost of the unit, it was reasonable to get an 400w HPS system from HTG in Melbourn at a less cost for electronic ballast. If you can exhuast the heat, HPS is your best option. Do the math, with eletrical and equipment, T5 and LED are more costly for the startup.

I use T5 on a SPS reef tank with great success and it will work on weed too.

When I move into my house, I make do both T5 and HPS in a larger grow area. Right now, in my 4X2 flower room, I am using HPS.
