Why did I move? Got a job offer I couldn't refuse. Do what you gotta do, right?

But you know the saying "you dont know what you have until its gone". Wife and I feel that way now about CO. Not terrible down here by any means but we know once the well runs dry here or I make enough money, we will be moving back!

yup i believe we are voting in november and polls show something like 82% of floridians want it. so im guessing FL will be a med state starting next year.

haha ya i hear that man. FL will be a med state next year. maybe it'll be full blown legal before your ready to go back and you could just stay lol

Anyone going to the marijuana meeting in Hollywood on May 17?
Many famous speakers at an all day event, tickets are on sale and it will sell out.
Lots of info for all facets of the industry from grower to med patient to stoner to savvy business people .
I may try to fly in for the meeting, but that is my GF birthday....
She may want to celebrate and smoke not listen to legal discussions etc.

question for anyone realy... how much was your bill with either a single 1000 watt or 600 watt. im trying to build a design, and needed the help on electricity prices on just lights... if its any help. the house is three bed. 2 bath with attached garage. the house soul purpose is to have an inside garden. the whole house. so all appliances unplugged, and the only power draw will be lighting, ventilation, air pumps, etc. garden only things! i want to regulate my bill somewhere around 225.00 - 260.00 a month. any help would be much appriciated!:dunce::wall::cuss:bongsmilie:hump::weed:

my 4x8 tent with a 400 cfm exhaust fan, 2 small clip on oscillation fans, and 2 600 watt air cooled lights only runs me 30-35 bucks a month.

An easy way to figure this out would be to look up the cost of 1kwh from your utility company (this will be on the bill itself and is also easily google-able) then multiply by the amount of wattage you'll be using, multiply by hours you'll have it on per day, then multiply by the est amount of days you'll be working your electronics.

An example using $0.12kwh, a 600watt bulb, a 18/6 light cycle and a grow period of 75d:
$0.12kwh *.600kw *18hours * 75 days = $97.20
 
I started the Texas growers unite thread. I got one question for yall Floridains whats the damn deal the Miami-dade police? all the bust I see are always in Florida, police are a bitch here in texas don't get me wrong but never hear of any bust in texas that much

we got good growing weather and a lot of places to smuggle like the everglades, so they do their best to put a stop to it but they say 1 in every 12 houses in FL has sort of grow even if its 1 little plant. so good luck getting us all! lol
 
do you guys have petitions and what not going around for it? idk about whats going on in texas but we have some very big lawyers backing our petitions and investing millions of their own money for the cause here in FL.

The ballot language gives a doc the ability to prescribe it for more than the specific conditions listed in the proposed amendment. When we pass it,all will depend on FL dept. Of health's rules.
