Cross pollinating sounds cool , I’m looking forward to the time I get to try things like that , Abe have you had any auto flowers in your grows ? I kind of like the idea of small plants and small grow room , less square feet means smaller electric bills , out in Colorado they had a contest ( called Dixie cup grow or something like that ) they grew them in like 40oz cups , Not much yield but fun project .

I had these beans b'cuz i cross-pollinated my goat wreck haze w a special cheese male.

Wow Abe I just got a cool idea , I’ll send you some of my snow white tomatoes and you send me some cheese , our plants are about the same size .

Just started seeing roots breakthrouh to resovoir on QT-1 looks like shes gonna be nice and bushyjust starting her third week of veg. My last run with this strain i topped and fimmed out not sure how im gonna train em this time around. with the dwc i might try a scrog.

Its fun as hell to breed your own seeds if you have the time. Here are some pics of a little hydroponic breeding tent i call it the cluster fuck. I crossed my qrazytrain x unknown really nice kush strain i had. I also used it once to make more qrazy train seeds by taking a stud and put a nice perfoming fast growing mother. I had pictures of the whole tent but basically it was just 3x3x6 foot cheap greenhouse tent i insulated and e exhausted it was set up with three hundred watt mh/hps. I imagine you could use less. I had up to eight plants in there at once at one time. Thatz when it got named the cluster fuck. or the orgy as my friend calls it because it basically is a bunch of plants in there fucking each other. Open indoor pollination i guess is what you call it

Not too much on my end a lot of prep work for this year's out door grow.
Indoe: week four veg on the qrazy train just topped her. My dwc looks like she's gonna have mostly space Queen phenotype. Which i dont mind at all. Qt 3 after being neglected and dropped on its head has made a full recovery. Ill throw some pics up tommorow. I found some bud porn on my old camera from my last qrazy train harvest so ill try to post those.

This is a cool site for information on autoflower plants --------------http://www.growweedeasy.com/home --------------- Have any of you bought seeds from this seed company ?

The Space Bucket idea looks like a good place to start , He recommends starting with ---Blue Mystic (feminized + autoflower)---- Has any one grown this plant and if so what did you think of it ? I also have heard of a plant called --Auto Ziggy 1 – and would like to get more info about it ?

those are actually the empty seed shells.

thinkin about germinating a few more beans now that the a few went satisfactory. hoping for at least 6-8 females of varied strains. autos don't produce much so germ em all maybe

No thats the date i took the picture. here they go now been doing low stress trainingand one was fimmed the dwc was topped once. I found with crazy train if you top em young they grow like bean stalks. all the tops in competition with each other. Heres the dwc now

These photos are amazing. I just got my first round of seeds and I'm totally new to all of this. I am an avid gardener and just moved from Massachusetts. I've never grown my own before, so I am totally into anyone's ideas, tips, etc. for what works for you in this climate. I am going to be growing outdoors. Our backyard is VERY private, and with the gardening I already have going on I think I'll be able to mask a bunch of it. What grows well near marijuana - does it depend on the strain/sex/etc?
Also, after starting inside (with seedlings) when do you go to the outdoors?
Any ideas are greatly appreciated!! Thanks

well for starters welcome to the forum and this thread. as far as tips for growing out in this climate i would make sure you pick some strains with a good resistance to mold and mildew since its a wet, humid climate. no idea what grows well around these plants but corn lol. i read in a very old marijuana growing book that the waste a corn plant puts back into the soil is beneficial to the cannabis plant and vice versa. not sure how much you would want to grow corn in the back yard though. it grows tall and will help hide your plants but also might shade them as well. anyways welcome again!

@drolove - that's ACTUALLY not a bad idea. I plan on having a pretty good variety around my grow (peas, tomatoes, edible herbs, etc.) But yes, you're probably right about the shade too....
I ordered from Herbies and I have to say, I was very impressed with their stealth shipping. I'm sure the po-po or any other powers that be patrol these kinds of sites so without going into too much detail it was a very cool to be able to order something like this for the first time and be successful. I didn't order too much - Sour Diesel (1x), John Heher (1x), plus some freebies like Strawberry Blue (1x) (all fem) and then I think I got something called afghani which is regular. (3x).
I've got them heading into day #2 of germinating using the water glass method above my fridge cabinet door to stay somewhat warm. I'm hoping to see some little hint of sprouting tomorrow.
Any tips for growing from a seed and when to plant outside?
