Never heard of them... what do they cost and is there as reason you picked them? I dig the green hydro farms, cheap and always worked great. For like 6 bucks they are good for several pounds before they should be replaced. And generally I replace them do to misusing them.I have a couple pairs of chikamasa fluorine coated scissors. after one trimming session you can notice areas where the two halves of the scissors meet, the coating is wearing off. I'm worried about flourine ending up in my finished product. does anyone have and insight into this?

I guess I have zero experiance with that. I have tried the non spring loaded and dont like them. I dont know how much your trimming but the way I do it is to have about 2 pairs in alcohol per person and when a pair gets gummy just put them in the glass and take the next pair. My wife and I can easily trim a lb or 2 per day like this without getting too burnt or tired.they're generally considered to be the best trimming scissor out there. non spring loaded. not the cheapest shear.

What kinda weight are you processing?
Everyone's idea of not much is differantoh not much. I was actually wanting the non coated ones for this exact reason but they sent me these instead. I think I'm gonna return them for the ones I actually ordered.
