Flower - 7 weeks 3 days

First grow, 3 plants.

1 plant shown I think is about done. F'iF'i'Know.

Another plant has the leaf issue shown in the other 2 photo's. Any ideas? I've tried flushing, then fert'ing.

I got some cheap ph strips, and they are pretty worthless. Somewhere in the 6-7.5'ish range I guess. I wish I could find a decent digital ph tester that didn't cost an arm.

Soil, 400w light, around 80 degrees, has a fan circulating air. Other than my cat occasionally chewing on leaves, nothing else I can think of to cause this. I water twice a week deeply and let them dry out.

Was hoping some horticultural genius looked at this pic and said, duh, you idiot, it's obviously..........." ? "

Hey bud looks like we are having a similar problem.. after thinking about it for a mintue it was quite apparent what the problem was.. Are you by chance using MG soil?? If so, the time release fertilizer pellets are releasing at

the worse time... Was thinking of flushing but I just dont think it will help much, I would post some pix but they are sleepin. :leaf:

Yup yup. I'm MG too. Maybe a serious flush would knock the little bastards out. Sigh, already have my next grow 3 weeks into veg using this same soil. I was thinking when buying this stuff that time release would be a serious pain trying to figure out what to nutrient and when.

Kinda like chefs using unsalted butter so they know exactly how much salt goes into a recipe.

I have no fucking clue how many nutrients are 'ongoing' in this soil, so no clue how much to add each week.

My total grow time is 5 weeks vegging and 7 weeks 3 days flowering, so 12 weeks'ish, 3 months.

Btw, $28 for a hanna ph tester on ebay, no problem. Then I look into the storing, calibrating, blowme solutions and they cost another $54, so now i'm suddenly up to $82. Then I balk... lol

It has been about 2 months here as well but mine are a little worse than yours.. going to flush tommorow and see how it goes. I have been giving it Tiger bloom, Big Bloom, and Beastie Buds. Just been giving them water and molasses since I noticed the dried leaves. :leaf:

I've only been giving mine tiger bloom. Interesting we are so close on grows with the same issue. Has to be the soil and foxfarm combo.

I think on this next grow I'll water deeper to kill those little gel balls quicker.

Must be too much nitrogen during flower? or a combo of the foxfarm and soil for too much phosphorous or potassium, no idea.

I'm also in the middle of my first grow. According to what I've read, its normal for the fan leaves to start dying in the last couple of weeks of flowering. If you haven't started your flush you may want to get on that pretty soon. Good Luck. :peace: OUT!

I hear ya. I'd be done with MG too if I hadn't already started my next grow.

BTW, I flushed my plants today, and did a PH test on the flush, and all 3 are coming up highly acidic, like in the 4 range. I added some baking powder to some water and fed them that to hopefully get the ph up.

They are so close to harvest and the buds are great, that I'm not so worried about it.

I am worried though, that the smell on the plants has all but gone away. They were pretty powerful for a long time, but now I can't smell much at all. NO idea if that's normal, or if something else is going wrong :-P:wall:
