Flower my plants now???i??

have big bangs on the grow.there 25 days old and all roughly a foot or so.perky! goin to flower monday ill post up pictures in while yeah.my question is how should i bring them from 18-6 to 12-12,gradually an hour a day or instantly and let them work away themselves? and i was thinking about gettin a tray to put under the lot of them so the pots will be sittin in water is that a good idea or overkill in a hostile environment?

Sitting water stagnates and locks out the O2. A good wet to dry cycle is usually the best approach.

i dont think you should have set volumes of water, each plant needs more or less...

the light cycle is fine if you switch instantly.. ive done, both no problems at all

Yea just soak the container and make sure you have a healthy amount of run off. As far as the lights, really not necessary to do it slowly.

In transition from veg to flower, some put them in total darkness for 24 to 36 hours then go to 12/12 light. I don't know if it contributes anything to the grow or not.
