Yep, 12/12 is the accepted schedule for flowering, and works very well.

Also agreed,....the dark period should be completely dark. The more light leaks you have, the more you are asking for problems.

Thanks guys, this probably sounds really dumb but my mate said go 12/12 all the way (is it?) and she is a blue cheese probably 50-60 cms, she has pre flowers and hairs all the way up her stems and is getting stinky, im on a budget for the electric so i did 12/12 but now i read how to force her and it says switch to 12/12, can they be grown all the way on these times?

She is in a tent so the dark is dark

Or more to say will it affect her if i have had her on a 12/12 from seed?

She is pre flowering all over the show but now i am panicking because i am reading the 12/12, some sites say they have done this with a good yield.

Please guys put me outta my misery.

What you have done, is going with 12/12 from seed, which isn't a bad thing, it just keeps the plant as small as possible, because it forces flowering from the beginning. You eliminated veg, which would've been 18/6(or up to 24/0), which would've allowed for a bigger plant, because they won't flower until you flip to 12/12.
