For those of you who have done this test side by side what has been your conclusion for yield? Utilizing your lights and growing just small plants with 1-2 large Colas that were vegged for 1-2 weeks or growing less plants but huge plants vegged for 5-8 weeks and have multiple colas?

I go back and forth with my thought process on this and was curious what others have found. I think the more cycles I turn the more I think more plants, smaller allows me to flip faster and get patients and myself our meds faster.

cut the big ones near in half & make a ring of colas. I got 5 oz off each ww/kk that one time at band camp...

I have done a side by side a few times. I currently run 3x3 tables under each thousand. I can fix 16 plants in one table literally perfect, with a 9.5in square pot. I've found that if you don't like to make concentrates, the table is perfect for you. You get tons of bud but none of the airy, popcorn buds I like to use in conjunction with my sugar leaf to make some awesome concentrates.

On average, I yield about 40 grams per plant, using the table. Close to about 1.5 packs per light. From clone I transplant into 9.5" square pot. After transplant, I will top immediately and give my girls a 7-10 day veg under 600w. I get e 7-10 days because that is when I feel my plants are over the stress of transplant as well as being topped. I harvest in no longer then 10 weeks, veg and flower. When I run my plants "normal," I put them in 5 or 7 gallon pots after having a 4-6 week veg under t5s and/or 600w. I usually fit about 6 per light and average 100 grams per plant. But, it takes me 12-16 weeks from clone to harvest. Even though my table only yields a small amount more, the time it takes to produce is significantly sooner. the only plus side to running them big, is I get a lot of tiny buds to throw in my bubble machine :)

Got a pic of your flowering? Sounds like a pretty good setup.
