Just let them grow, add some nitrogen to help them out of flower.

So long as there is over 12 hours of light shining on them and they aren't Ruderalis Hemp, they should stay in vegetative growth. The plant will only go hermie if it senses no males and and the end of its lives is near. In N. Cali it should be ideal conditions for Cannabis, I cant see your plants going hermie yet.

you want 16 hrs of light outside or more so that don't happen. they will vert back a lot faster outside then under lights, you will be fine.

It's not just if they sense no male, stress can turn a plant hermie and uneven light cycles can to

Shut the fuck up! obviously you do not know that as a LIVING organism, your plants do sense things and they do react to changes in their surroundings. Hence, the living organism part? so what if its in a pot? that dont mean shit tool!

No, no, no! Someone propagates this b.s. a dozen time a day on this board and it simply isn't true. Where you live, the days aren't down to twelve hours until Sept. 25/26. Check it here:

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/sunrise.html?month=9&year=2009&obj=sun&afl=-11&day=1

So that means your plants will be ready to harvest somewhere between Thanksgiving and Christmas...in New England...right?

...

And that line about sensing males made absolutely no sense. How would they sense them without being pollinated? I mean, what would they sense?
