Not sure why you quoted me in your comment? I know when and how to harvest. I'm constantly trying to teach new growers just that. 90% of new growers harvest to early and then want to know why their weed smells like grass or doesn't really get them high. Really trichomes are one of the last things to look at, the stigma(pistils) will redden and receed first, and then you still typically have 10-14 days still when the plant swells internally and puts on weight while it ripens up.
It is VERY easy to harvest to early, and VERY hard to harvest to late. The only times I've seen plants go TOO long was when it was very much done on purpose by the grower as an experiment. Otherwise people don't have the patients to wait for them to be OVER-ripe. Thus the harvest window
.
For the record I think these plants could easily take more then 4 weeks, but that has yet to be seen. Its way to early to make any kind of final call yet. One seems to be starting with some amber stigma so it may be beginning to get closer. However it could just be early ambers and they still have 5-6 weeks left. You can't rush plants along, and they won't be done until they are done
