I've never seen a re-veged plant hermaphrodite, and I've done it about 25 times, doesn't mean it doesn't happen, but I think people think any little stress will cause plants to herm, that's simply not true. In fact I've NEVER seen a stabilized plant herm, only plants that have a tendency to herm in the first place.just because its gonna reveg doesn't mean its gonna herm
excellent thanks !Here is a cool sun calculator to see what date you will have 15 hrs of sun. http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/sunrise.html
You lose around 6 weeks if I am to believe the books I read....
Good to know...I have only revegged once, by error in my first season ..I always thought it stunted the plants a bit and hurt yields...I could of been some other problem that I didn't notice..That's absolutely inaccurate....6wks is damn near a flowering cycle....the transition from veg to flower or flower to reveg is at most 2 maybe 3 weeks.. Depending on temps and strain...the colder it is the longer it takes...it'll take six weeks if your area is 6weeks away from a veg cycle..it's the same when sexing...females come from a 12/12 sexing cycle and out right outside in natures current veg cycle, in two weeks you see new veg growth...I do it Every year...did it this year and still have seeds sexing on 12/12....
That's why when possible (if the grower has an indoor setup)the revegged plant will be brought inside and put under 18/6...or...24/0...dramatically reducing that time frame...I've revegged both ways...and yield never suffered....I have pics if you'd like to see...
I would argue that it really depends how far the flowering cycle has progressed. and what you view as flowering, because some say their plant are flowering the second they see hairs. I would agree that yes it does take about 2-3 weeks to resume vegetative growth from flower but hardly seeing any growth in those 2 weeks. then it grows fucked up and slow for 3-4 weeks until it finally grows NORMAL vegetative growth and resumes growing at a normal rate. However if you start revegging during preflower, the process will not take as long, and wont be as detrimental. OP's plant is about as far as Id want a plant to be in flower, before having to reveg. It appears that he's already got new vegetative growth coming, If buds kept forming another week or so, could of been a different storyThat's absolutely inaccurate....6wks is damn near a flowering cycle....the transition from veg to flower or flower to reveg is at most 2 maybe 3 weeks.. And yes Id like to see pics to see what u deem flowering, because something tells me you are just letting your plants show sex and then putting back in veg,That's absolutely inaccurate....6wks is damn near a flowering cycle....the transition from veg to flower or flower to reveg is at most 2 maybe 3 weeks.. Look up "Light Depravation"....cover them for 12hrs at night...I had a GSC clone 24 hr light, that I decided to put out ( noob ). It budded then reveged. Still got good result. This yr I was given a Chernobyl clone so I put it out ( since I was going out of state. Came back and it's got nice buds. Any ideas how to keep it in flower?
Pics coming.
You won't be sorry.......Here she is. Kind of sad that I got to cover her up!
