Flowering in limited space

Hey everyone my plants are currently about 6-8 inches. Unfortunately i will be flowering in very limited space under cfls. I am a first time grower so i would say i am mostly doing this for the experience, not high yields or anything like that my question is can i take my three week vegged plants and throw them into 12/12 from 24/0 yet? If anyone has questions or wants to see pics i can post some. IF i do start to flower them right now could i expect ANY yield at all? thanks

... 24/0? I havent heard of that. I put mine on about 16-18 / 8-6 But i am using hps. Does it make a difference when using cfls?

As to answer your question, yes, switching the lighting like that would more then likely throw them into starting to bud sooner.

24/0 is just another way to veg plants. I think its pretty standard. If i DO switch them to bud now even though theyre only three weeks old, will they still have a slight yeild?

answer these questions u might get a better responce
when u put 24/0 i think u mean your lights are always on ?
how much space do u have ?
what strain are you growing ?

yes upload some pics it helps alot..

Depends on your space. You can expect your plants to at least double in height during flowering. It if fine to flower now. Some people begin flowering straight from a seed. You will get less yield for each day less you veg though. So you need to judge your height and how much the plant will grow. remember, you can begin to LIGHTLY tie down the plant to save space.

K, sorry if anything was unclear. Here are some pics of my three plants and the set up.

seeds- bagseed
light- 3 24watt cfls 1 super bright cfl light that i found. (box said ultra bright day glow cfl or something along those lines, i cant really remember.)
light times- 24/0 since seedling
age- 3 weeks
medium- miracle grow soil (i know)
watering- every three days usually
nutes- none yet

my main question is: i am trying to contain these plants within this grow area. Right now they are 6-8 in as i am planning on trying some LST. I am not necessarily hoping for any type of enormous harvest seeing as this is my first growing experience. IF i put these plants in to flower relatively soon will i still be able to expect some sort of yield? Nothing fancy i would settle for even just an eigth.

no idea if theyre male or female yet. i just threw them into bud last night. So hopefully ill see if i get anything. Sometimes my temp gets way too high, like 90's, but i just vent it out once or twice a day and it usually remains just right

Yh i am sure you havnt got the right ammount of light.
26w cfls are ok but you will need like 8 of them to get ok buds so i wouldnt even try to bud yet remember the longer you leave them the bigger the bud will grow.

well heres an update. i threw these babies into flower last night. Due to space restrictions they really cant get taller than 2 feet so if this never bud and end up just nasty schwag then whatever, first grow. Judging by these pictures can anyone possibly give me a strain indication. I imagine its a cross but it looks primarily indica to me. What do you guys think?

Ya bro, you will be fine. Some people flower from seed and see decent results. You should be pleased with whatever you get. You may want to get some warm light cfls to produce more buds. (just a thought). good luck though.
