hey guys, I know I want 2700K lights for flowering....but what if I had 2100K? Will it make a huge difference? CFL lighting, but thinking of tossing in a 150W HPS light as well....cause it was free haha:weed:

unless you've got a lot of CFL's to cover a wide area on ur plant or ur running a few T5's i'd definitely be sticking the HPS on. from my understanding its like bandwidth on a radio, u might be close to the station and hear some of it but get the frequency right and u'll be sorted

yar, I've got 14 CFL's. Want to stay CFL only if possible. My buddy has a big one that states its 2100K...which I read is also HPS rating. I'd like to have a few CFL's strategically placed for best light. Decided to use the 150 HPS for vegetables.
