flowering light advice needed

I'm currently flowering one of my mother's due to lack of space in me box she has been lsted and all that I'm currently using 6 23w cfl lights and I want to swap to my 100w hps. But I don't know if I have enough space should I continue to lst till the stretch is over then hit the hps or? Also this is a good producing strain her kids are budding nicely with small cfl light I just want to increase yield. So roughly how much head room will I need to use the hps like 6 inches or less I hope? She is a short flower like 7 weeks. I think. Thanks everyone for your input, and keep it green

Oh yea she is 5-6 days into flower after 36 hours in total dark.

Ok so no advice as of yet, so how much coverage will I get with a 100watt hps security light and how much headspace will I need not to burn my buds

A few sq ft max and about 18 inches.

probably a little less than 2ft by 2ft.. and just put your hand by the tops of your plants and if its too hot for your hand its too hot for the plants.

id say leave them under the cfl for 2 weeks at 12/12 while they stretch a little. if its the blue spectrum bulbs at least. i do this with my t5's and they dont stretch near as much as they do if i put them straight under my 600 at the beginning of 12/12.

Here's a good chart to go by, for some reason no 600 on here...? Any way turn on your light, put your hand under the light if the heat from the light is hot on your hands it's hot on your plants. View attachment 2042286 stay high

Cool thanks for the advice also what do I do if I start to run out of head space. Supercrop or just go hella heavy on the lst?

either one would work.
