Flowering plant is getting stupid tall. Need Help!

So I'm new to growing and I have a unknown female in flowering. She is about 5 weeks into flowering and is in a Dwc 5 gallon bucket. She looks good she is just now over 5 feet tall and still growing everyday. It was two feet tall when I started flowering and was 7 weeks old. Trying to get pics up but having trouble hopefully soon though

A 3 to 4 week stretch is normal for an 8 week flowering strain.
Sativas that flower for 16 weeks can stretch for 6 or 7 weeks.

I believe it's a hybrid, this thing is starting to get skinny and I have plenty of light with a 300w led panel and two Tao tronics led bulbs designed for growing. It's healthy and strong but it ifit don't slow down it might hit the roof soon lol

my grow bibles say to bend, twist, tie, stake, pinch the stem/stalk into the positions you need them to be in, fold the whole top of
the plant over at desired height even, after pinching the stalk to relieve some pressure.

Idk if I'm misunderstanding but it sounds like you said you spent 7 weeks begging and you're currently 5 weeks into flower in a hydro setup. If so thats a recipe for a big ass plant. But to answer your question go to the hardware store and buy a ball of twine or jute and tie one end to the branches and the other end to whatever you think can handle the tension. Most of the time the branches are able to bend and flex ALOT so don't really worry about them and welcome to the fun world of low stress training. Ohh you can Google/YouTube lst to get an idea of IT

Awesome, I figured I let it vegitate a little longer than I should have. Just didn't quite expect it to quite hit the roof haha. I've tried a little lst but I'm worried cause even some of the main colas are thin. I'm going to try and get pictures up soon. I have a patato for a phone. Thanks for the replies by the way everyone.

Is there anyway to tell without knowing the strain of its a longer flowering plant?
Even if you knew the name of the strain different phenom types can have different finishing time. Its like two siblings can have the same parents but one could take after the mother, both could take after the father, grand father , etc... The name just give you a better idea of what's in the pot. To get a better idea of what u have u should look at the leaves. The fatter the leaves the more indica present the shorter the ripening time. The thinner the leaves the more sativa present the longer the ripening time. But beyond that yours going to have to guestimate

Alright it looks like it stopped getting taller. Thanks for all the info. The buds are starting to fatten up now at almost seven weeks so 9 might be a good guess
