Flowering? Pre-flowering?

Hi, despite going through the stickies and reading many grow journals, I'm still unclear on the concept.

Just wondering what stage I'm at with this Lowryder#2 indoor soil grow. I'm around day 28 from popping out of the soil.

Has this plant begun to flower? Or are those still pre-flowers?

Hey crash, That is the very beginning of flower. (right after pre flower)
5 or 6 more weeks topps!

cant really tell but if u see two white hairs and ur still in ur vegging cycle then there pre flowers

Looks female to me, but is hard to see in pictures. If you have little whispy white hairs coming out it is female. Will look like pods with tiny white hairs.

female for sure.. if this is outside(sorry cant tell) then it is flowering... if its on 18/6 indoors then its pre-flowers. i would put on 12/12 now. its goona be a nice ass plant. good job.

if im am not mistaking that is a "auto" so there would be no "veg" cycle
i may be wrong but i think all lowryder is auto?

Thanks so much for all of the replies. This is an indoor grow under three 42w 6500k CFLs, a totally bare bones operation. Got the feminized auto LR#2 and some soil from a buddy and the rest of the "cabinet" is from bits and pieces I found (people dump old furniture on the sidewalk in my neighborhood).

It seems to be doing okay after a rough start when I was watering way too much and had kept it in a party cup too long. It's now about 12" tall and about the same width in a 5 gallon bucket.

One other question-- I've read conflicting info on 2700k vs. 6500k at this stage. If 2700k is considered better, I wouldn't mind buying more bulbs, or even using maybe three 42w 2700k and one 42w 6500k from here on out.

Thanks again for any and all advice--- I've learned so much here and it's saved this plant from ruin for sure.

Pic: So I'm guessing that this is the cola?

i think that would be the "main cola" . A stem with a flower on it is a cola......
While the plant is in flower it likes the 2700k a lil bit better. a rule of thumb is more blue for veg (6500k) and more reds/yellows for flower (2700k)
I use both for entire grow...... a lil more 6500 for veg and a lil more 2700 for flower....

Thanks again, wyteboi. My 1st bagseed grow never made it this far so this is all new to me.

I think I'll go with three 42w 2700k and one 42w 6500k and see how it goes. Cheers!

sounds good for veg
side note: let all of um dry out real good before watering... its a VERY common mistake.
