:!:Say im taking from a Mother that is almost 30 days in flower. if i take a cutting with a bud on it, will it grow more buds and stay in flower after it roots? will something happen to the bud during rooting? i plan to get some floros and water clone some and then can they go straight into 12/12? will they grow or be the size of the cutting? if so do i cut like a big enough cutting to grow a decent amount of bud on? fill me in on cloning so that they can go straight into 12 /12

I know it's highly recommended you take a clone from a mother in a vegetative state. I would think that in your case the bud on the clone would stop growing, and it would also take forever to root. That's if it roots at all. Never tried this myself, just my two-cents : )

wow now that a good ?. i would like to no also. i have cut clones 6 weeks in flower never trying to keep it flowering like you are asking but i noticed that when i cut from a flower plant, b4 it gets her roots the little bud starts dying off. now it may be because of 24/0 light cycle i do not no. i would say try it and let us no what happens.

the bud dies, to center the energy on taking root, but will take a long time to convert back to veg, to grow roots, hence why it takes so long, or it runs out of stored nutes and dies.
