i just bought a lavender clone about 2 weeks ago. im growing outdoors so as soon as i brought her home, i got her used to the sun, then i transplanted her into her permanent 35gal tub. i know that its pretty late to start an outdoor plant but i want to do it anyway. this is more of an experiment than anything. she is only about a foot tall. i want to know if theres any way i can A: keep her in veg through the flowering stage with some sort of nutes. B: let her bud out and let her get bigger next season. or C: if i just have to deal with having like two buds on my plant. Please help me out. this is my first outdoor grow.

you would have to keep a light on her all night as the photoperiod not nutrients are what makes a plant flower. the fall/winter weather in your area might kill her anyway. i would grab a couple cfls and take some clones for next season...you can always keep cloning your clones if they get too big and flower her out with what little bud sites she might have. lavender is a great strain!!! good luck

Just plant a clone in a 1 gal. pot with potting soil and keep it like a house plant. Low light... Low nutes... Happy mom! For low production, that is! Then enjoy watching your little girl go be all she can be!

True that, I would do exactly what medicolas said. There is no-way to keep your bitch from flowering other than photo-period. Take a clone bro, actually take several, because you want a strong healthy mom and then trash the rest. Next season plant on-time and you should be legit!!! Or you could do the deal in indoors!

Yes! Take clones definately. I just put 4 clones in potting mix today.
I transplanted big momma into a larger pot and broke a couple bottom limbs off.
I put them in water a week ans a half ago and placed them in the kitchen window for light.
My clones are in qt. containers (until they root) and I used liquid rooting compound.
My three ladies outside here in N.W. Wa. (where anything will grow) are just now pre-flowering.
Another month and I should have some decemt nugs to medicate myself with.
Happy smoking, ~MedHead~
