Ok so i have about twenty five plants but a third are more than ready to flower third ready and a third in the grey area... i want to start flowering now but dont want to waste the plants that are smaller.. should i wait till they catch up or are they big enough to produce some buds... The pics i'v attached are mostly of the smaller plants. If you guys could let me know whether or not u think i should wait or flower it would help alot thanks.

It really looks like you need more light.
He's right you prob should invest into some more lights. Other than that.... I would start to flower now! You don't want the older plants getting as tall as a redwood than toppling over. You more than likely won't get the same amount from the litttle ones as the big ones but its not worth the risk! There is a period called "the stretch" when a plant is transitioning from veg to flower it can grow anywhere from 6" to 2.5'. Those little plants will get a little bigger but its not worth risking the rest of the crop to grow the little ones out a bit.

we are going to flower under 1000watt hps.. but i am going to start a perpetual grow. does anyone know whether its safe to run that many watts, will the power company red flag me for the popo or anything? just alittle concerned because i will have at least 1800 watts running in the system.. all advice is welcomed thanks again guys.

I can't imagine 1800w getting your bill flagged....you're not the only person who has spikes I'm sure....

BTW: flower everything! Have plenty of ventilation or cooling for the 1000w as smaller seedlings will suffer a bit from that intensity.

thanks for the advice.. the strain is chocolope.. i was wondering how much you guys think i will yield. obviously it has to do with alot of factors but knowing i started with ocean forest soil with fox frm nutes.. all are female.. and flowering under 1000 watts. if people could throw out rough estimates it would help alot thanks.

Bro.....I've got 5400 watts in lights alone 1200 watts in my ac than prob about 5-600 watts in my blowers.....And that's just the main electrical use besides from all the other shit like fans, pumps...etc. Just pay your bills and you will have no prob!

He's right....I normally do about 6 plants per 1000 watt max is 9 plants no more than that.....EVER! But that just my personal preference.

it's all about surface area of the canopy... if you cram all twenty plants into a five by five space then put them under one 1000, or space them out and veg them up bigger... all preference and plant count if you're medical.

I would advise more light. You over planted for that amount of light, notice how the small ones are the ones most out of the light? maybe next time split that room in half to get more light reflection of those to lights separately by using mylar. make sure you pull some clones off this grow and do 10 plants 5 on each side. Your wasting electricity its just not worth it.

It is hard but if it was my grow then i would get shut of the smaller plants and veg the others for another 2 week,By doing this the plants lost will give the front runners more light and more room, and the weight will be increased alot..........tyke...........................................

Ok so i've changed the setup alittle let me know if this will work out better. i have three 400 watt for flowering i'm going to try to space them out so they all get an even amt of light.. i do have to ability to separate the small plants and veg them longer and i covered the walls in poly. the pics below are trying to show how much light i will have per plant and how small the small one are ha.. the third light is getting a new bulb today. and i thought 400 watt covers 4x4 area? but anyways please keep commenting on ideas of how to maximize profit and yield and let me know if you think i should separate smaller plants and veg em longer or if its worth it to just flower them... thanks again.

also i'm alot less scared about getting busted now that i know i wont get flagged by power comp thanks

Those plants need to develop a lot more before you should flower. You may want to take the plants that are ready now in a separate area to flower....because most strains only have a 2 week window of optimal flowering time. If you miss that window your buds will not be as good as they would have. They also look like they could use some more attention! Good luck with that!
